In a strategic move to boost innovation in India’s real estate sector, real estate developers’ body NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen has partnered with Brigade Real Estate Accelerator Program (REAP) to strengthen an initiative aimed at supporting emerging entrepreneurs in PropTech.Under this initiative, the Earth Fund , a Rs 200 crore Proptech Venture fund , will be deployed in funding new startups and represents the largest ecosystem for Proptech startups in India.“India’s real estate sector is at crossroads, and the need for innovation has never been greater. By partnering with Brigade REAP , we are ensuring that emerging entrepreneurs have access to not only the capital they need but also the strategic guidance that will help them succeed in this fast-paced environment," said Prashant Sharma, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra.Brigade REAP, which has already incubated 76 startups in the proptech space, will offer essential funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance to these startups.This partnership combines NAREDCO Maharashtra’s industry network with Brigade REAP’s expertise in scaling PropTech ventures, establishing a robust platform for entrepreneurs to launch and accelerate their ideas, NAREDCO said in a release.The Earth Fund is also structured to reinvest returns from successful ventures back into the ecosystem, creating a sustainable funding loop for PropTech innovation.This re-investment model allows the program to maintain financial sustainability and continually support new entrants in the sector, which is critical for maintaining momentum and adapting to evolving market needs.
