
UNIQLO opens outlet in Bangalore
Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO opened its first store in Bengaluru. The store is located at Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway. Cricketing legend Rahul Dravid and UNIQLO India officials joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The outlet covers 9,012 square feet and features collections for men, women and children.

BENGALURU, DHNS: Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO opened its first store in Bengaluru on Thursday, expanding its presence into South India for the first time. The store is located at Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway and it was inaugurated in the presence of cricketing legend Rahul Dravid who joined UNIQLO India officials for the ribbon cutting ceremony. The outlet covers 9,012 square feet on the ground floor and brings UNIQLO's "LifeWear" range to the city. The Bengaluru store is the brand's 17th in India since it entered the market in 2019. On opening day eager shoppers had lined up outside from as early as 7 am waiting to be among the first inside. The store features collections for men, women and children, including tech-driven winter wear such as HEATTECH, PUFFTECH and AIRism, along with fabrics like fleece, denim and cashmere.
