Brigade Hotels ties up with Marriott to develop 2 hotels in Chennai

Chennai: Brigade Hotel Ventures has signed a multi-deal agreement with Marriott International to develop six hotels across four markets including two properties in Chennai. The other four hotels are coming up in Bengaluru and Kerala. The property at the World Trade Centre in the city, which is anticipated to open in FY27, will comprise 45 guestrooms. The second facility, JW Marriott Chennai OMR, will have 250 guest rooms and suites. It is expected to open in FY30, a statement on Wednesday said. "Each of these projects reflects our belief in the long-term potential of the Indian hospitality industry," said MR Jaishankar, executive chairman, Brigade Enterprises. TNN
